Trip Testimonials

  • “I recently spent two weeks on an incredible journey in Rajasthan, India. Karen has extensive travel experience in India and across the globe, so my expectations were high—but she did an exemplary job that far surpassed those expectations. From the moment we arrived in Delhi to the moment we departed, we were ushered in first class style through our entire adventure. Karen’s ambitious and well-balanced itinerary unfolded beautifully, and she and her incredible hand-picked team took care of every detail while always making sure we were comfortable and safe. Karen also took the time to get to know each of us, personalizing experiences based on our interests and going out of her way to enrich the trip. Beyond the flawlessly executed itinerary, she brought a depth to the journey that was truly moving. She genuinely cares about everyone she shares her adventures with and brings a serene warmth and composure that is comforting and inspiring. I can’t recommend Karen Score and Grace in Nature Unlimited highly enough.”

  • “As a single person, I always wanted to see the world, but didn’t have a travel partner. I started traveling with Grace In Nature Travel in 2021. Since then, I have been on several trips with Karen Score and Grace in Nature Travel. On every trip, I have felt safe and cared for. Karen is an expert traveler and procures trips that combine beautiful and safe accommodations with local flavor that make you feel that you’re not just a tourist but are really engaging in the culture. Often, the trips incorporate a service to the community that you visit. Grace in Nature has helped me see the world and expand my horizons and I am forever grateful for that. I have just returned from India with Karen and am already looking forward to my next Grace in Nature adventure!”

  • “Spirituality in India is not confined to temples or a single day of the week—it lives everywhere. This was the sentiment Karen shared with us before our mother-daughter trip, and after two weeks exploring Rajasthan, we can say her words perfectly captured our breathtaking journey. Karen is patient, generous and inclusive, and her passion for India is contagious. She ensured we were incredibly well-prepared and went above and beyond by helping us with flights, visas, and even transportation to and from the airport. Our small group felt incredibly protected and cared for thanks to Karen and her longtime local guide, Yogi, whose decade of partnership created an environment of complete trust and safety. Every moment felt intentional and magical, and the intimacy of the small group allowed us to really connect. Would we go to India again? Yes! Would we go with Karen and Grace in Nature Travel? Absolutely. We cannot recommend them highly enough!”

  • "When I first saw this India trip, I thought, I’ve never been—and probably wouldn’t go on my own—so I simply decided, I’m in! As with every Grace in Nature retreat, it brought together an incredible group of fellow explorers. From arriving in Delhi to traveling through multiple regions, the adventure unfolded city by city. We visited stunning sites like Jama Masjid, the City Palace in Udaipur, the Monkey Temple, and of course the Taj Mahal—truly breathtaking. Standing in front of it after seeing photos for years felt surreal; I had to touch it just to believe I was really there. One of the most moving experiences was visiting the Sandipani School for Girls. The warmth of the girls and their hugs stayed with me, as did the contrast between the beauty and wealth we saw and the poverty many returned home to each day. At the start of the trip, we each chose a word to carry with us—mine was Learn. And I did: about India’s beauty and contrasts, its people and culture, and even how not to fall off a camel or an elephant. It was an unforgettable experience."

  • "My husband and I were referred to Karen by a trusted friend. We were looking to visit India for the first time and were feeling overwhelmed and intimidated with the thought of going by ourselves. From the first time I reached out to Karen she was always quick to respond. Everything that she described in the trip description was exactly as promised. All accommodations were wonderful and each day we felt taken care of by her, Keli, Yogi and the drivers. Karen has a vast knowledge of the country and truly loves it. She said every time she arrives in India it's like returning home. Our experience with the group was unforgettable. Thank you, Karen, for sharing your love of India with us.”

Karen’s passion to provide an experience that goes to the heart of a place is what makes her trips so very special. The people we met, the places we stayed, the sights we saw will live within me forever! Thank you Karen, Yogi and Keli. Their combined expertise and caring gave me an understanding of India that I believe is unique and one that I think can only be found with them, do yourself a favor, go on a Grace in Nature trip, you will learn and experience so much about our world and our place in it.”

  • “In March of 2023, I had the pleasure of joining Karen Score in India on what was most definitely a trip of a lifetime. As a retired teacher and lifelong learner, I never dreamed I would be standing in places I enthusiastically shared all those years with students in the classroom. Karen made that dream a reality for me. She has a way of effortlessly bringing people of all walks of life together to share adventures. Karen's friends/guides in India became our friends, as they safely and joyfully led us throughout Rajasthan. As I peruse the many photos from the trip weeks later, I am transported back to the wonderful sites and sounds of an incredible country with amazing palaces/temples, delicious food, kind people, beautiful animals, colorful clothing, gorgeous jewelry, fabulous music and so much more. Thank you Karen, for sharing your love of all things India with us.... I look forward to joining you on other adventures in the future.”
